VIRTUAL PCB PROTOTYPES

50% of assembly data is accidentally submitted with errors.

Our virtual protoype service lets you see and review actual manufacturing data, including your Gerbers, through a digital image of your board.

This helps our customers catch and fix problems before assembly begins, preventing delays and costly rework.
- 98% of errors are caught and corrected before assembly begins.

- Assembly designs can be verified while parts are being ordered and delivered.

- Assembly time is reduced by an average of 1 full week.

Virtual prototypes are provided free of charge as a part of our standard assembly service.

Examples of a virtual prototype:

Typical errors caught and identified through the virtual prototype service include:

Incorrect polarity markings

Incorrect PCB pad footprint

Less than 10 mil spacing from part to part - requires hand-placement off center

How it Works
  1. First, our service extracts the design data from your assembly files (gerbers, XYRS and BOM)
  2. Next, we create a detailed, digital image of the board.
  3. An experienced engineer reviews the image - verifiing part fit and rotation.
  4. Potential errors are identified and customers are contacted.
  5. Finally, customers are emailed the digital image and have a chance to confirm the final designs.
